EAA is a non-profit society that holds personal data on a computers. It holds the minimum information required to run the allotments efficiently. The association is not required to register with Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act.
That said we take every step to maintain that data private and secure. Any plotholder may request a copy of their own data and optionally provide an update to the data we hold on them.
Typically personal data is shared at committee meetings after new plotholders register with the EAA. When a plotholder leaves the association their data will be kept on file for up to a year.
